Once you are logged into the Learning Lab Central platform, you can always find and access your courses in the upper menu bar by clicking on, “My Courses.”
A few things to keep in mind:
- You must be logged into Learning Lab Central to open and participate in the course materials.
- You may take these courses at your leisure. Everytime you exit a course, it will keep track of your progress, and when you log back in, you can pick up right where you left off.
- You will also notice an icon with 3 lines on the lower bar of the course screen. Clicking on this will open the Table of Contents, enabling you to easily jump to other lessons within the course. This is handy for going back for a quick review and being able to jump right back to where you left off.
- After you finish all modules & quizes within a course, exit the course and the Final Exam will be unlocked for you to proceed. When you complete and pass the final exam with a score of 80% or better, you will automatically be issued a Certificate of Completion for that course. If you are enrolled in the Executive Program, you will receive your Advanced Certification after completing and passing all seven courses.
- Google Chrome provides the most seamless experience in opening and engaging with the course materials. It is highly recommended to use it for this purpose. (See “Important Note” below.)

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Before you attempt to launch your first course, you need to go into the Chrome browser settings and enable/allow pop-ups for the Learning Lab Central platform URL–>https://learninglab.emmersionpublishing.com/
The course files will open in a new window, and the courses will be sending information from the learning management system and the learning record store, tracking student progress throughout the course.
Some browsers have issues with pop-ups and/or the necessary tracking to track student progress in the courses.
Google Chrome is the easiest and most reliable browser to use to take your courses.
